LIVERMORE, Maine — Authorities identified the body of a Livermore Falls man found Monday afternoon by tree workers near the NorStar Ambulance Station on Route 4.

Nathaniel Paradis, 29, had been the focus of a missing persons investigation by the Livermore Falls Police Department since June, according to the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department.

Paradis had been reported missing since June 12, when he left an apartment in Livermore Falls. He has suffered from depression for some time, police said. Relatives were notified Monday night that his remains had been recovered.

Police don’t suspect foul play in Paradis’ death, according to Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Lt. Glenn J. Holt.

Workers from Lucas Tree Service found Paradis’ body Monday about 100 feet into the woods over an embankment and notified authorities shortly before 2:30 p.m.
