FORT KENT – Mary (Bouchard) Albert, 70, died peacefully, July 3, 2013, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Mary was born Jan. 3, 1943, in Frenchville, daughter of Mack and Anna (Rossignol) Bouchard.
She was a member of Senior Citizen Club of Fort Kent, and belonged to Assembly of God Church, Fort Kent. She enjoyed volunteering at the Good Shepard store, always willing to lend a helping hand, her favorite pastimes were knitting and crocheting and she was a wonderful cook. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 21 years, Jean-Yves Albert of Fort Kent; daughter, Sandra Boucher of Emmalena, Ky.; son, Dennis and wife, Susan Boucher, of Cheshire, Conn.; four grandchildren; six brothers, Phil and wife, Barbara Bouchard, of Waterbury, Conn., Gerard and wife, Carmen Bouchard, of Palm Coast, Fla., Gilbert and wife, Marge Bouchard, of South Daytona, Fla., Normand and wife, Anita Bouchard, of Oakville, Conn., Bertrand Bouchard of Waterbury, Conn., and Lucien and wife, Vicky, of Sandford; and sister, Rose and husband, Harold Cox, of Waterbury, Conn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers; and three sisters.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Assembly of God Church, Fort Kent, with the Rev. Duane Stiles officiating. In Mary’s memory those who wish may donate to Edgar J.
