BANGOR – Jason Durant Emerson passed away unexpectedly June 30, 2013, along with his love, Beth Gould. He was born June 27, 1973.
He attended Hermon High and graduated from Eastern Maine Community College. He was a loving father and enjoyed his job at GE. He was always happiest riding his Harley, snowmobiling or boating. He loved nature; hunting, fishing, gardening and going camping. Jason cherished the many friends he made throughout his life. “Emmytown” was quick with a joke, a hug and flirty smile. He would often crack himself up and had an infectious laugh. He was charismatic, everyone who knew him will keep his memory in their hearts.
Jason will be greatly missed by his family; his parents, Almon and Nancy Emerson; sisters, Kim Giggey and Kaylee Rosario; brother, Aaron and wife, Erica; his two beautiful daughters, Jade and Midori Emerson; their siblings, Katylee, Miranda and Johnny Cote, and their mom, Sarah, brother-in-law, Chuck Giggey; nieces, Kassidy Giggey and Ciera Braley; Beth’s girls, Madison and Megan; “aunt and uncle,” Chris and Steve Straub; many special relatives, Darren, Scott, Pat, Wilma, Charlee, Mac, Christy, Chad, Audrina and Elijah; many extended family members; many cherished friends; and Frankie, the pug. He was predeceased by his beloved grandparents, Willard and Muriel Durant, Bertha Britting; and uncle, Roy.
A celebration of his life will be held 6 p.m. Friday, July 12, at Community of Christ, 128 Pierce Road, Brewer. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to a fund set up for Jason’s daughters at any TD Bank, care of The Jason Emerson Fund.
