Connie E. Webb

FORT FAIRFIELD – Connie E. Webb, 74, wife of Bernard E. Webb, passed away Monday morning, July 1, 2013 at her Fort Fairfield residence after an extended illness. She was born Feb. 22, 1939, in Bloomfield, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of William and Lena (Harvey) Hughes.
She attended Centreville, New Brunswick schools, was married to Bernard E. Webb, Feb. 4, 1956, was a 57 year resident of Fort Fairfield and was a member of Presque Isle Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness.
She was predeceased by her parents and is survived by her husband, Bernard E. Webb of Fort Fairfield; two sons, Travis Webb of Presque Isle, Blair Webb of Fort Fairfield; four daughters, Bridget Webb Cyr of Fort Fairfield, Dedra Webb of San Antonio, Texas, Heidi Potvin and her husband, Chris, of Kenduskeag, Darcy Webb of Presque Isle; three brothers, Earl Hughes of Woodstock, New Brunswick, Ross Hughes of Euless, Texas, Fred Hughes of Birmingham, Mich.; one sister, Eunice Armstrong of Euless, Texas; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Connie will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, July 5, at Presque Isle Kingdom Hall, 64 Jamieson Road, Presque Isle, with Rodney Chambers officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield.
