BANGOR, Maine — Country music fans will have another reason to rock out at the Bangor Waterfront this year. The Lost Trailers, which just began its 2013 tour, announced recently a stop in Bangor on Aug. 1, at the Darlings Waterfront Pavillion. The show will also feature Massachusetts native and country music singer/songwriter Jillian Cardarelli. The best part — it’s free, according to the Waterfront Concerts website.

The event is part of Bud Light’s effort to line up 50 concerts in 50 states on the same day for an event dubbed 50/50/1 that will kick off a new marketing platform: Bud Light Music First.

The events are created in partnership with Live Nation, Myspace and Universal Music Group, and the program will be supported by promotions on 80 million packages of Bud Light products, as well as national ad campaigns created by Translation.

Tickets will be available at Cigaret Shopper (all locations), Leadbetter Super Stops (all locations), On the Run (all locations), Seasons (Main Street, Bangor), Toziers II (Bucksport), Harborview Grill (Bucksport). For more information on where to get tickets, visit waterfrontconcerts.com.

Known for songs like “Holler Back” and “Call Me Crazy,” The Lost Trailers got its start in 2000 after being discovered by country great, Willie Nelson.

In 2004, The Lost Trailers released their debut record, “Welcome to the Woods,” and in 2008, Mediabase recognized them as the most played new country band of 2008. Two years later, they toured as the first opener for Tim McGraw’s attendance shattering tour with Lady Antebellum, then as a part of the Inaugural Country Throwdown Tour with Montgomery Gentry and Jamey Johnson.

The next concert in the Bangor Waterfront lineup is Phish, set for Wednesday, followed by Daughtry and 3 Doors Down on July 10.

For ticket information on these concerts, stop at Mark’s Music store at Penobscot Square in Brewer, call 800-745-3000, or visit waterfrontconcerts.com or Ticketmaster outlet.
