SOUTHINGTON, CONN. – Christine (Tardie) Lamarre, 87, of Plantsville section of Southington, Conn., passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013, at MidState Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Armand Lamarre. She was born in Eagle Lake, daughter of the late Eloi and Mamie (Albert) Tardie.
She was a resident of Southington, Conn., since 1957. Prior to her retirement she was employed by the former Allied Control, Southington, Conn. She was a parishioner of St. Aloysius Church.
Christine is survived by five sons, Roland and wife, June, Nelson and wife, Rebecca, all of Southington, Conn., Clayton and Kenneth of Plantsville, Conn., and Lyman of Berlin, Conn.; and daughter, Brenda of Plantsville, Conn. She also leaves two sisters, Delores Tardie of Caribou and Albertine Nadeau of Sherrill, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four sons, Lester, Raynold, Leland and Brandon; two sisters, Ernestine Lemieux and Gail Tardie; and four brothers, Alvin “Junior,” Albert, Elmer and Wilmer Tardie.
