Bushway powers 9-10 all-stars past Orrington

ORRINGTON, Maine — Isaac Bushway collected four singles and earned the win on the mound Wednesday as Bangor West beat Orrington 23-3 in the District 3 ages 9-10 Little League Baseball all-star tournament.

Brad Mclaughin registered two singles and two doubles while Jesse Karnes singled twice for the winners.

Dustin Mitchell hit two singles to pace Orrington, while Sam Blanchard drove in two runs.

Border 13, Bangor East 3

At Orrington, Silas Graham stroked two triples and a double to propel Border Little League to victory over Bangor East.

Josh Foster hit a home run and Jacob Richie tripled for the winners (1-0) to support winning pitcher Trevor Schools.

Austin Cook led Bangor East with a double.

Old Town 15, Houlton 0

At Orrington, Tanner Evans earned the pitching win as the Old Town all-stars shut out Houlton.

Joseph D’Angelo spearheaded the offense for Old Town (1-0) with four singles and Zack Dill singled three times. Matt Seymour added a triple.

Colin Moody, Mike Mattson and Drew Foley each singled for 0-1 Houlton.

Hampden 20, Glenburn 7
