STETSON, Maine — Officials have yet to release the cause of death of a Stetson toddler.

Mark Belserene, spokesman for the Maine Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, said Wednesday it will likely be a few weeks before autopsy results of 2-year-old Loh Grenda are made public.

The toddler was found dead in her mother’s vehicle in Stetson around 3 a.m. Monday, according to state police.

The girl’s mother, 24-year-old Leanna Norris, has been hospitalized at an undisclosed facility. She currently resides in Auburn but is formerly from Stetson.

The case remains under investigation.
