BANGOR, Maine — A 29-year-old Bangor transient known to police was arrested again Tuesday afternoon.
Officers David Farrar and Russ Twadell were on patrol on Broad Street shortly after 5:30 p.m. when they noticed Christopher Haridson, 29, panhandling near the the Wave bar, according to Sgt. Paul Edwards.
The officers were informed that Hardison had a trespass warning from the Wave and also bail conditions prohibiting him from panhandling, Edwards said.
Hardison was placed under arrest and charged with criminal trespass and brought to Penobscot County Jail, from which he was later released.
Hardison’s most recent brush with Bangor law enforcement occurred on April 19, when he and another man were arrested after stealing bags of returnables from a residence on the corner of Blackstone and Center streets.
Hardison has also spent 32 days in jail on a domestic violence conviction from October 2012, according to court listings printed in the BDN.
