Drunken Bangor man charged with disorderly conduct

BANGOR, Maine — Police arrested a Bangor man Sunday afternoon after warning him to quiet down multiple times outside a movie theater.

Nicholas Pride, 28, was drunk and belligerent when police arrived at Movie Magic on Odlin Road shortly after 4:30 p.m., according to Public Relations Officer Jason McAmbley.

McAmbley said the police report did not indicate where Pride had been drinking when asked if he had been at My Fork lounge, which is next door to the movie theater.

Officers had warned Pride to quiet down multiple times upon questioning him outside the cinemas, McAmbley said, adding he was “not saying nice things about the officers.”

Pride was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, McAmbley said. He has since been released on bail.
