STETSON – Jeffrey Scott Smith, 43, died unexpectedly June 10, 2013. He was born Oct. 8, 1969, in Bangor, son of Loretta (Smith) and Norman Facemyer.
Jeff enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his father, Norman Facemyer; two daughters, Natasha Smith and Heather Grindle; two grandchildren, Tyler James Hand and Summer Sky Smith; brother, Darren “Charlie Brown” Smith and companion, Melva; sister, Dorothy “Porkie” Stone and companion, Roy; uncle, Roger Smith and wife, Gloria; aunt, Dorothy Barbie and husband, Joe; two nieces, Brittney Lea Cronk and husband, Joe, and Christy Sue Pickerel and husband, Scott; five nephews, Christapher Smith, Steven Cronk, Samuel Cronk, Brandon Cronk, and Todd Hill and wife, Jonie; and many cousins. Jeff was predeceased by his mother; and brother, James Smith. The family wishes to thank the Comeau family, the Burns family, Corey and Linda Sprague, Jim LaPointe, Shane Brassie, Tom Harris, Lewie Pearson, and Lilly Champion for being special friends to Jeff.
A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, June 22, at Pleasant River Church, Brownville, with Pastor Bob Mowdy officiating. A graveside committal will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Coboro Cemetery, Stetson. After the committal, the family invites family and friends back to Porkie’s home, 355 Lyford Road, Orneville.
