SUPPORT FOR SHAW HOUSE

Seventh-grade students enrolled in the music appreciation class at Leonard Middle School in Old Town presented a fundraising check to the Shaw House in Bangor on May 31. After developing ideas for a song about homelessness, students passed their information along to John Bapst Memorial High School student Lily Muscatell, who composed and recorded a song based on the students’ ideas. Participating in the check presentation were (from left) Shaw House representatives Rick Tardiff and Phill Heuerman; Leonard Middle School seventh-graders Brandon Morin and Matt Keresey; and Muscatell.
