LEBANON, Maine — A 70-year-old New Hampshire woman suffered minor injuries after her vehicle rolled over on Center Road Sunday evening, officials said.

The woman, whose name Lebanon Rescue Assistant Chief Jason Cole would not disclose, was heading northbound when it left the roadway around 7:54 p.m. and ended up in a ditch on its side.

The victim was trapped inside, but several witnesses managed to pull her out through the driver’s-side window before rescue personnel arrived. She was treated at the scene, Cole said.

The car, heavily damaged but not demolished, was subsequently towed.

The woman was wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident.

Center Road was closed to traffic until 9:30 p.m. Maine State Police are investigating the crash.
