Anthony J. Spada Jr.

HUDSON – Anthony J. Spada Jr., 67, died unexpectedly June 1, 2013, at his home. He was born June 11, 1945, in Bangor, son of Anthony J. Sr. and Della P. (Dean) Spada.

Anthony served in the U.S. Marine Corps, 1965-1969, with two tours in Vietnam as a combat engineer, attaining the rank of sergeant. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a life member of 1st Marine Division and Disabled American Veterans. Anthony enjoyed boating and target shooting.

Anthony is survived by his brothers, Dominic Spada and wife, Julie, of Milford, Mass., and Louis Spada of Phoenix; sister, Lucinda Spencer of Brewer; and several nieces and nephews. Anthony was predeceased by his parents.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at Mount Hope Cemetery, 1048 State St., Bangor, and relatives and friends are asked to meet 1:45 p.m. at the cemetery Superintendent’s Lodge.
