Auburn native Colin Britt impressed judges on “America’s Got Talent” with his orchestral performance of Carly Rae Jepson’s “Call Me Maybe” on Tuesday night.

Last month, Britt auditioned for the reality show — now in its eighth season — and will be going to Las Vegas to vie for the $1 million prize.

The 2003 Edward Little High graduate, his friend Arienne Abela and an array of musicians and singers put a classical twist on the pop favorite, winning over the judges unanimously.

To loud applause from the audience, former Spice Girl Melanie Brown shouted, “You took it to the moon and back — loved it, loved it, loved it!”

Howie Mandel agreed and Heidi Klum related that the song was a hit with the four small children in her house.

Howard Stern quipped that the million-dollar prize would not go far after it’s split among Britt’s 300-member orchestra.
