Robert ‘Bob’ L. Harmon Sr.

MILLINOCKET and CHESTER – Robert “Bob” L. Harmon Sr., 72, born July 10, 1940, in East Millinocket, went home to our Lord unexpectedly May 31, 2013, surrounded by his family at a Bangor hospital. He was the son of Leo and Mabel (Twist) Harmon.

Bob was self-employed most of his life doing many different trades. His true trade was farming and a woods cutter for many years. Bob loved to hunt, bowl and play cards. He enjoyed being with his family and friends, playing the guitar, and singing having a good time.

He is survived by his nine children, Robert L. Harmon Jr. and significant other, Lisa, Richard and Karen Harmon, Shelly Nigg, Denise Biks and fiancé, Chuck, Jolene Plourde, Joseph Harmon and fiancée, Lori, Tammy McLain and husband, Harold, Kristen and significant other, Bobby, and Beth Dominique; brother, Leo Harmon and wife, Sylvia, of Berwick; sister, Mona Whiting of California; 20 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a special grandson, Tyler John Harmon; sister, Elaine Reardon and brother-in-law, Leroy Reardon, of Chester; and brother, John “Jack” Harmon of California.

Friends and family may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Wayne Perry officiating.
