BANGOR AND DOVER-FOXCROFT – Inez M. McTigue, 90, wife of the late Paul E. McTigue, passed away peacefully May 28, 2013 in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born March 29, 1923, in Holden, daughter of Frank L. and Amanda Elizabeth (Hart) Harper.
Inez is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth and her husband, William Huntington, of Dover-Foxcroft; two sons, Darrell and his wife, Marilyn McTigue, of Dedham and Paul T. McTigue of Bangor. Inez also leaves behind six very special grandchildren, Shelley Nutter and her husband, Michael, Lori Farrar and her husband, Michael, Stephanie Dundas and her husband, Robert, Allison Wakeland and her husband, Timothy, William Huntington Jr., and Deborah Wiley. She was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren, Travis, Taylor, Chandler, Linley, Connor, Ricky and Tyler; as well as three great-great-grandchildren, Hunter, Olivia and Bree Elizabeth. In addition to her husband Paul, she was predeceased by her parents and siblings.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday May 31, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. Private interment will be immediately after at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor, where she will be laid to rest besides her beloved husband of 58 years, Paul.
