PARKMAN – Kenneth Francis Johnson, born Dec. 21, 1942, passed away peacefully May 16, 2013, at his home, surrounded by his wife and their five daughters.
He was predeceased by his father, Francis J. Johnson in 1946; mother, Priscilla (Parker) Packard in 1999; and stepfather, Elden Packard in 2004. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia (Elderkin) Johnson; their five daughters, Kimberly Johnson-Moore of Parkman and her sons, Mark and Erik Moore, Shelly and husband, Jim Bennett, of Parkman and her children, Kenneth Michael Chavaree and Delani-Jo Bennett, Valeda Johnson of Parkman and her children, Timothy Boone Jr. and Dustin Boone and Alaina and Zachary Spizouco, Vicki Kimball and husband, Kenneth, of Parkman and their children, Garrett and Sean, Karna Johnson of Parkman and her children, Maggie and Ethan Abbott; great-grandchildren, Jeffery and Nori Boone; sister and husband, Shirley and Ron Nadeau; special cousin, Harland Parker; close friends, Mark Storms and Paul Vainio; “adopted” daughter, Bonnie Pike; and many other very special family and friends.
He was a very loving and loyal husband and father, a great friend and a farmer through and through. A man who believed in hard work, kind words and a gentle hand. Just simply a great man. “If you live a good and honorable life…then when you get older and think back, you’ll enjoy it a second time.”
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, May 20, at Jackman Corner Cemetery, Sangerville, with the Rev. Dr. Richard Davis officiating.
