Pedestrian struck by car in Old Town

OLD TOWN, Maine — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Main Street in Old Town on Friday morning.

A Penobscot Regional Communications Center dispatcher said at 11 a.m. police and rescue personnel are headed to the scene.

The victim is pinned underneath the vehicle, the dispatcher said.

No further details were available.
