Game notes: The first-place Black Bears have secured a postseason spot, but look to stay sharp against the Retrievers. UMaine has won seven of its last nine, including Tuesday’s 9-7 win at Boston College. Bazdanes and Coughlin will be limited to 50-60 pitches. UMBC did not qualify for the playoffs, but has won five of its last six. The Retrievers are batting only .206 in league play with a 5.23 team ERA.
