Sanford police seeking weathervane stolen from top of Goodall Mansion

SANFORD, Maine — Police are investigating a theft of an antique weathervane from atop the Goodall Mansion.

Sanford Deputy Chief Tim Strout said the theft occurred sometime between Jan. 3 and Jan. 19.

The weathervane is described as a “Goldleaf Clipper Ship.” Strout said police do not have any suspects.

Anyone with information or knowledge of where the weathervane may be should call Sanford police at 324-9170.
