ALEXANDER – Mary Jane Landry, 88, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013, after a long illness with family by her side, in Alexander, at the home of her daughter, Belinda. She was born June 15, 1924, in Eastport, daughter of the late Leo and Eva (Mitchell) Marsh.
Mary was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Earl Landry; brother, Harry; and sisters, Roseann Kowal and Stella Young. Mary, a six-degree granger, is survived by brother, Earl Marsh; son, Chris Landry; daughters, Evarose Fairbrother and husband, Archie, Mary Jean Landry and companion, David McLaughlin and Belinda Burgess and husband, Edward; sisters-in-law, Nina Huntley and Barbara Landry; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 13, at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
