FORT FAIRFIELD – Larry A. Sawyer, 42, died unexpectedly Monday evening, April 29, 2013, in Fort Fairfield, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born April 3, 1971, in Fort Fairfield, the son of Albert L. “Pomp” and Thelene M. (Levesque) Sawyer.
He was a graduate of Fort Fairfield High School, class of 1990 and had been employed in the welding industry for a number of years.
He was predeceased by his brother, Leroy A. Sawyer Feb. 24, 1990. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Albert L. “Pomp” and Janet Sawyer of Easton; mother, Thelene M. Sawyer of Houlton; three daughters who were his world, Jenessa P., Autumn G. and Livia S. Sawyer, all of Fort Fairfield; sister, Lori A. Stillings of San Antonio; two nephews, Justin Sawyer of Sidney and Bradley Stillings of San Antonio; and many extended family members.
Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in memory of Larry, to establish a college education fund for his daughters, care of Albert L. Sawyer, 417 Easton Center Road, Easton, ME 04740.
