BANGOR, Maine — Police continue to investigate a two-car accident that occurred Sunday evening at the junction of Griffin and Ohio streets and are asking eyewitnesses to call them, Bangor police Sgt. Paul Edwards said.

Officer Jeremy Brock went to the scene about 6:10 p.m. and called in Officer Jim Dearing, who is trained in accident reconstruction.

“A 2004 Ford sedan operated by Cameron Russell, 19, of Bangor and a 2002 Honda Sedan operated by 21-year-old John Blouin of Framingham, Mass. collided in that intersection,” Edwards said in a press release.

The Ford and the Honda appeared to have crashed into each other and an advertising sign for the nearby Tom T’s convenience store.

“The condition and location of these men are unknown at this time,” Edwards said. “If anyone witnessed the accident, please call 947-7382 and ask to speak to Officer Jeremy Brock.”
