Howland teen facing robbery charge indicted for 8 burglaries, theft

BANGOR, Maine — A Howland teenager charged with an April 14 convenience store robbery in Enfield was indicted Wednesday by the Penobscot County grand jury in connection with a series of burglaries last year in northern Penobscot County.

Brett R. Doane, 19, was indicted on eight counts each of burglary and theft by unauthorized taking.

Doane was arrested April 15 and charged with robbery and violation of condition of release. The teenager was on bail for the burglaries when he allegedly robbed the Bridge Street Market.

He was not indicted Wednesday on a robbery charge but could be at a later date, according to the Penobscot County district attorney’s office.

Doane’s next court date is May 13 when he could be arraigned on the burglary and theft charges.

He is being held without bail at the Penobscot County Jail on the violation of condition of release charge, Michael Roberts, deputy district attorney for Penobscot County, said Wednesday.

Charles M. Attean, 32, Indian Island, domestic violence assault, operating after revocation, obstructing the report of a crime or injury.

Robert M. Brideau, 44, Milford, operating after revocation.

Justin. R. Brier, 19, Orrington, eluding an officer, criminal mischief, leaving the scene, refusing to submit to arrest, criminal speeding, operating beyond license condition or restriction.

Philip Michael Bryant, 25, Brewer, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.

Alcide Cote, 35, Ashland, burglary, violation of a protective order.

Nicosia Dellairo, aka Nikki Dellairo and Dominic Dellairo, 27, Orono, forgery, two counts of attempted acquiring drugs by deception.

Crystal D. Doucette, 31, Milford, theft by deception.

Joshua M. Doucette, 33, Old Town, violation of a protective order, aggravated assault, criminal mischief.

Sean M. Eberhart, 31, Brewer, domestic violence assault.

Donald A. Getchell Jr., 45, Greenbush, theft by unauthorized taking.

Stephen J. Gilman Jr., 45, LaGrange, assault, domestic violence assault, refusing to submit to arrest.
