LINCOLN – Barbara J. (Jacobs) Ribeiro, 66, passed away April 21, 2013, at her home. She was born July 3, 1946, in Medway, the daughter of Clifford and Guila (Caswell) Jacobs.
Barbara loved sewing and working in her flower garden. She enjoyed cooking and canning and loved to travel. She was a very caring and devoted person to many and loved spending time with her grandchildren. For many years, she attended Calvary Temple-Assembly of God, East Millinocket, and in recent years attended Mattawamkeag Church of God.
She is survived by her husband, Armando Ribeiro; daughter, Carla King and husband, Michael; granddaughter, Carlita King and significant other, Cassidy Ouellette; and grandson, Aaron King, all of Lincoln; two brothers, Elwin “Sutt” Jacobs of Medway and Harland Jacobs and wife, Marie, of Linneus; two sisters, Desire Rhodes and husband, Robert, of Lincoln and Judy Curtis of East Millinocket; sister-in-law, Mary Jacobs of Millinocket; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and she will also be missed by David Warrick. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by older brother, Vernon Jacobs; sister, Ann Van Dine; and sister-in-law, Carole Jacobs.
Friends may call 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, at Calvary Temple-Assembly of God, 2 Orchard St., East Milinocket, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev.
