FRANKLIN – Randy Elwood Frost, 52, passed on April 16, 2013, at his home after a long battle with cancer. Randy was born Nov. 19, 1960, to Sylvia Frost of Franklin and Clyde Frost of Bucksport.
He was very talented, and was well known for his exceptional work laying ceramic tile. Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his four-wheeler with his children and close friends. He also loved spending time and playing with his two-year-old granddaughter, Ryen. Randy was known for his sense of humor and bright smile, and always had a joke to tell. He was a very dedicated father to his children, James and Sarah, never missing a cheering competition or an opportunity to listen to his son play the drums.
Randy is survived by his son, James Frost and fiancée, Emily; his daughter, Sarah Frost; his granddaughter, Ryen Frost; his siblings, Cheryl and husband, Bob Morse, Sharon and husband, Richard Bunker, Ricky Frost, Rhonda and husband, Tom Guida, Amy and husband, Rich Gromek, and Bili Jo Frost; many special friends and family; and his faithful dog, Roy. He was predeceased by his sister, Shelly Frost.
There will be a memorial service for Randy 11 a.m. Thursday, April 25, at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, Ellsworth. Interment will be held at Sunny Side Cemetery with a gathering afterward of friends and family at Eastbrook Community Building.
