BANGOR, Maine — A Glenburn woman was arrested on an operating under the influence charge after an off-duty police officer saw her driving erratically on Broadway early Saturday morning and decided to follow her to a McDonald’s restaurant.

When the officer approached to check on her, he saw that Autumn Crane, 20, had an open beer on her lap and called Bangor police, Bangor police Lt. Steve Hunt said. Bangor police Officer Jamie Fanning administered sobriety tests, which Crane reportedly failed.

After her arrest, Crane was taken to Penobscot County Jail, Hunt said.
