Kenduskeag Stream Race

Bangor Parks and Rec is accepting registrations for 47th annual Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race, race is April 20, preregistrations accepted until 1 p.m. April 19; fee is $20 per person with preregistration, $40 per person race day; race-day registrations will be accepted only from 6:30-7:30 a.m.; race registrations available online and at Parks and Rec office at 647 Main St., for info or to register visit www.bangorparksandrec.com or call 207-992-4490.


Golf “Fore” Women

Coaches clinic

East Grand Adventure Race

At Danforth, 8th annual East Grand Adventure Race on May 11, 20-mile triathlon includes a 1.5-plus-mile off-trail compass run, 9-plus-mile mountain biking, 7-plus miles of canoeing; climbing wall challenge and extra challenges in the field; two-person divisions: high school boys, girls, mixed; adult men, women, mixed, juniors, seniors; open division can compete as individuals or on teams of any size, relay, kayak or canoe; entry fee $20 per person which includes trophies, T-shirts, lunch and more than $1,000 in prizes for youth divisions; proceeds benefit East Grand High School’s outdoor education program, sponsored by First Wind, Woodie Wheaton Land Trust and Ski Rack Sports; registration deadline May 10; contact Dave Conley, 207-551-8729 or dave@canoethewild.com., www.eastgrandschool.org/adventure-race
