2013 honor parts announced at Narraguagus High School

HARRINGTON, Maine — Lindsey Collora has been named valedictorian, and Lauren Ramsay has been named salutatorian for 2013 at Narraguagus High School.

Lindsey Collora has been vice president of the National Honor Society, a class officer all four years of high school and been a part of the DAC Student Leadership Advisory Panel for the past three years. Among Collora’s awards are the Golden Apple Award, Maine Principal’s Award, Phi Beta Kappa Academic Achievement Award and numerous individual class awards. Collora has been an integral part of the soccer, basketball and softball teams for all four years; being named a DAC All-Star for two years in soccer and softball.

She plans to study physical therapy in the fall at Husson University. Collora is the daughter of John & Sara Collora of Columbia.

Lauren Ramsay has been class president all four years of high school and is president of the National Honor Society. She has been a student mentor and a member of the Math Team, French Club and Outdoor Club. She has received the Golden Apple Award as well as numerous individual class awards. Ramsay has contributed greatly to the soccer, basketball and softball teams during her four years of high school and was named a DAC All-Star in basketball.

She plans to study nursing in the fall. Ramsay is daughter of Robert Ramsay and Joan Ramsay of Addison.

Graduation exercises will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, June 7, in the Charles F. Lawrence gymnasium.
