ROCKPORT, Maine — Both the incumbent school board member and select board member have taken out papers to retain the offices they hold.
But the incumbents have no competition as the nomination period reaches its halfway mark in Rockport.
Incumbent select board member Tracy Lee Murphy has taken out and returned her nomination papers and qualified for the June 11 ballot.
Gretchen Richards has taken out papers but not yet returned them for a three-year seat representing the town on the School Administrative District 28/Five-Town Community School District Board.
The deadline for papers to be filed to get on the ballot is April 26. Papers have been available since March 18.
