Rescheduled town meeting slated for April 6

CORINTH — The town’s annual meeting has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at Central Middle School gymnasium.

Residents who wish to participate in the voting at the meeting but are not registered are advised to arrive early or to visit the town office during the week to register. Identification is needed for the registration process.

Residents with questions should contact the town office at 285-3271.

The results of the municipal elections held on March 18 were:

  • Two selectmen, assessors and overseers of the poor for three-year terms: Gareth Blackwell Jr., 153 votes; Charlene E. Chesley, 150; and Stewart Brooks, 32.
  • One director for the SAD 64 Board of Directors for a three-year term: Wanda St. Peter, 170 votes.
  • One cemetery trustee for a three-year term: James Berry, 167 votes.

A total of 178 ballots were cast during the election.
