BUCKSPORT – Richard D. “Dick” Perry, 74, died unexpectedly at his home March 31, 2013. He was born April 21, 1938, son of Harold and Ruby (Rolfe) Perry.
Richard was an all around great guy who was a very loving husband, father, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. He liked to hunt with his nephew, Rusty and the rest of the family. He also loved woodworking and going to Acadia National Park.
Richard is survived by his wife of 29 years, Victoria “Vicki” L. (Carter) Perry; two children, Stephanie Catembung and husband, Herry, of St. Petersburg Fla., and Richard D. Perry II of Portsmouth N.H.; two grandchildren; Robert and Cassandra; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Beverly and Parker Carter; brother-in-law, Melvin Carter and wife, Pam; sister-in-law, Penny Carter-Kingston and husband, Steve; special nephew, Rusty Lanpher and wife, Cayla; special niece, Aprile Neill and husband, Ryan; and several nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by his parents.
