MILLINOCKET – Clayton G. “Pee Wee” Clavette, 57, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013, after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. Clayton was born May 13, 1955, in St. Agatha, the son of Gilman and Rachel (Michaud) Clavette.
He grew up in Millinocket, attending local schools and graduating from Stearns High School, class of 1974. He worked for Great Northern Paper for 29 years and at SAPPI Fine Paper for six years before retiring. Pee Wee loved to spend his time hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends. Clayton had many good friends and neighbors who loved and cherished him, and he loved and cherished them.
Clayton is survived by his siblings, Judy Wyman and her husband, Donald, of Mattawamkeag, Joyce Elliot and her husband, Bill, of Camden and Bangor, and Roy Clavette and his wife, Michelle, of Stetson; and nieces and nephews, Aaron Wyman and wife, Lisa, of Redondo Beach, Calif., Autumn Elliot of Dover-Foxcroft, Grace Clavette of Stetson, Megan Murray of Dexter and Matt Murray of Bradford. He was predeceased by his parents.
Friends may visit with the family 10-11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket, where a funeral service will be celebrated 11 a.m. Interment will be in the spring.
