MADAWASKA – Murielle Dionne, 86 years old and 7 months, passed away peacefully March 20, 2013, at Bangor health care facility with her family by her side. She was born Aug. 20 1926, in Notre Dame Du Lac, Quebec, daughter of Joseph and Emilie (Jalbert) Caron.
Murielle worked at High View Manor for many years. She was a member Daughters of Isabella of Madawaska. Murielle enjoyed playing cards, playing the organ and piano, crocheting, and knitting.
Murielle was predeceased by her husband, Albenie Dionne. She is survived by two daughters, Mildred “Millie” and husband, Wallace Cyr, of Bangor, Martine and husband, Philip Ouellette, of Cromwell, Conn.; one son; Raynold “Ray” Dionne and wife, Kelly, of Bangor; one grandson, Craig and Molly Cyr; four granddaughters, Stacy and Matt Duffy, Sara and Jerome Sestito, Katherine Dionne, and Allision Dionnel; and three great-grandchildren, Meghan Cyr, Hunter Cyr and Oliver Cyr.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska. Family and friends may call 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Lajoie Funeral Home.
