BATH, Maine — An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from Coastal Dialysis Center on Congress Avenue Tuesday evening.

Bath police responded to the business, in the same complex as First Federal Savings and Roger’s Hardware, after a plowing contractor notified them that he had found a broken window at the rear of the building, Bath Police Chief Michael Field said in a release Wednesday.

Police entered the building and discovered several rooms and offices had been entered, and the money — but no equipment or drugs — was taken.

The crime occurred sometime between closing and 9 p.m.

Police have no suspects and ask anyone who saw people near the business to call the Bath Police Criminal Investigations Division at 443-8367.
