Police seeking man missing from Old Town

By Ryan McLaughlin, BDN Staff

OLD TOWN, Maine — Police are asking for the public’s help in looking for a man who has been missing since Wednesday.

Old Town police Capt. Kyle Smart said the man, 41-year-old Troy Crawford, was last seen in that town Wednesday afternoon.

“We were getting information that he was in different places yesterday,” Smart said Thursday afternoon.

The missing white male has brown hair and blue eyes, is 6 feet tall and weighs 155 pounds, Smart said.

Crawford is believed to be driving a Toyota pickup, the captain said. Old Town police have put out a statewide bulletin in hopes of finding him.

Smart added the man apparently called his ex-girlfriend threatening suicide because she would not take him back.

Anyone who has seen the man is asked to call Old Town police at 827-3984.
