SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine — A Gorham man with a history of driving offenses, including three OUI convictions, is facing yet another drunk driving charge, police said Tuesday.

Bradford Lacy, 41, was pulled over in the Maine Mall parking lot shortly after midnight on Saturday, according to South Portland police Lt. Frank Clark.

Prior to Saturday’s traffic stop, Lacy’s driver’s license had been suspended seven times, and he was not eligible for reinstatement until at least July 2018, Clark said.

Sgt. Adam Howard conducted field sobriety tests on Lacy and placed him under arrest when he was found to be under the influence, the lieutenant said.

Lacy was taken to Cumberland County Jail and charged with felony OUI. In addition to that, Lacy had two warrants for his arrest on assault and aggravated assault charges in Portland, Clark said, and he was booked on those as well.

Lacy’s 2007 Jetta has been impounded by police. printed on April 28, 2017
