HUDSON, Maine — The Hudson Grange will present a candidates night on Monday, March 18, to introduce residents who are running for openings on the town’s Board of Selectmen and Regional School Unit 64 board.
The event begins at 7 p.m. at the Hudson Town Hall.
Incumbents Donald Grant, Mike Kelley and Deanna Thurston are seeking re-election to the two three-year seats on the Board of Selectmen available this year. Norman Veazie is seeking the one-year selectmen’s position.
Meanwhile, incumbent Tyler Grant is running for a three-year RSU 64 school board post and Kristen Dorey, who is completing former member Rick Gilman’s unexpired term, is running for a two-year opening.
Elections are set for 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 22. The annual town meeting will take place the following day at 10 a.m.
