Third suspect arrested in connection with Augusta pharmacy robbery

BANGOR, Maine — Augusta police and federal agents have arrested a third suspect in connection with a January pharmacy robbery.

Candice Eaton, 26, of Augusta was taken into custody without incident at 10 a.m. Tuesday, according to Augusta Deputy Chief Jared Mills.

Eaton, who is expected to appear in federal court in Bangor on Tuesday afternoon, is facing a charge of accessory after the fact, Mills said.

Eaton joins two other suspects arrested in the Jan. 22 robbery of a CVS Pharmacy on Stone Street.

Stephanie McCormick, 22, of Augusta and Anthony Post, 19, of Auburn are both awaiting trial, Mills said.

Post was arrested on Jan. 24 after his mother and a friend of his father recognized him on video surveillance from the robbery while McCormick was taken into custody on Jan. 30.
