UNITY, Maine — A 72-year-old woman was robbed of cash and her prescription drugs last week in a nighttime robbery, and Maine State Police on Sunday arrested the fourth person they say was involved, according to Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety.

Two men and a woman connected to the Waning Road home invasion, reported at about 1 a.m. on March 5, were arrested Saturday and the fourth suspect was arrested Sunday afternoon, McCausland said in a statement.

“The victim was awoken from her sleep to find the men dressed in dark clothing in her bedroom demanding drugs and money,” McCausland said. “The woman was not injured and was able to call 911 after an undisclosed amount of cash was taken and her cellphone was stolen.”

Danny Green, 27, a Waterville-area transient, was arrested Sunday.

Paige Lanctot, 19, of Skowhegan, Alexander Salvas, 18, of Skowhegan and Bryan Gower, 22, of Waterville were arrested Saturday. All four were taken to the Waldo County Jail.

Lanctot was charged with criminal conspiracy and is free on $1,000 bail.

Green, Salvas and Gower are all charged with burglary and robbery and remain behind bars, held on $5,000 cash bail, a jail official said.

“Troopers said the intruders had purchased gloves, bandanas and zip ties before the robbery, although the woman was not tied up,” McCausland said.
