MAINE vs. BOSTON UNIVERSITY

Time, site: Wednesday, 7 p.m., Case Gym, Boston

Key players: Maine — 5-10 G/F Liz Wood (10.2 points per game, 6.7 rebounds per game), 5-9 G Ashleigh Roberts (10.2 ppg, 4.6 rpg), 5-6 G Courtney Anderson (7.0 ppg, 3.5 rpg), 5-8 G Lauren Bodine (3.9 ppg), 6-2 F Mikaela Gustafasson (3.7 ppg, 2.4 rpg), 5-8 G Sophie Weckstrom (3.5 ppg); Boston U. — 5-8 G Chantell Alford (16.6 ppg, 5.1 rpg), 6-1 F Rashidat Agboola (11.8 ppg, 9.0 rpg), 5-7 G Mo Moran (10.4 ppg, 5.9 assists per game), 5-7 G Danielle Callahan (7.9 ppg), 6-0 F Whitney Turner (5.4 ppg, 6.4 rpg).

Coach Richard Barron’s keys to the game: “We have to contain Moran and Alford from the 3-point line and rebound effectively.”

Game notes: The Black Bears, coming off a 56-53 loss at Stony Brook, play their last road game at BU. UMaine continues to scrap, with a recent boost from Bodine’s 3-point shooting. The Terriers are 11-2 at home and have won seven of their last eight. However, BU is not eligible for the AE tourney and is probably looking at a WNIT berth, rather than an NCAA at-large spot.
