HOULTON – Marjorie F. Ingraham passed away Feb. 25, 2013, shortly before her 90th birthday. She was born in Houlton, the daughter of Arnold and Madeline (Logan) Curtis.
She retired from Viner Shoe Co. after many years as a secretary and was a member of Anah Temple Sunshine Club.
Marjorie is survived by her sons, Frank and his wife, Lynda, of Benedicta and Alan and his wife, Karen, of Vass, N.C.; granddaughter, Kimberly and Eric Slingwine of Franklinton, N.C.; great-grandchildren, Chase and Maggie Slingwine; and her sister, Patsy Cleaves and her husband, Vernon, of Wallingford, Conn. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and special cousins, Jack and Nancy Ketch and Nancy Cockcroft. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Glenn; and sister, Betty Brawn. The family expresses their thanks to Madigan Estates and the staff for the wonderful and loving care they provided Marjorie the past four years.
At Marjorie’s request, there will be no services. Those who wish to remember her in a special way may make gifts to her memory to a charity of their choice.
