Robin Cassandra Bray

ORLAND – Robin Cassandra Bray, wife of Thomas “Tamm” Fragas and daughter of Richard W. and Anita Janes Bray, born June 27, 1955, crossed into her spirit world Feb. 21, 2013, after living more than four years with ovarian cancer.
Homemaker, mother, teacher, dancer, kayaker, creative craftswoman and vital community activist, Robin envisioned and gathered people to bring about Turning the Tide retreat for ovarian cancer survivors in 2012.
In addition to her husband, Robin leaves sons Nathanial Bryant Bray-Marks and wife Colette ­Emanuel and Josiah Herbert Bray-Marks and partner Ariel Shepard; Bray sisters Sharon, Candice and Rilla, brother Rick Bray and their spouses Dick Hale, Peter Smith, Bob Bateman and Beth Bradley; as well as very close nieces, nephew and their families; and her husband’s family in Hawaii.
Celebration of Robin’s life will be held Sunday, March 10 at 2 p.m., daylight savings time, at Orland Methodist Church. Instead of flowers now, plant some growing, green life come spring, and think of Robin whenever you tend your garden. You may send memorial donations in Robin’s name to a charity of your choice.
