Game notes: The Black Bears look to win three straight games for the first time since the 2006-07 season. UMaine is coming off an inspired effort in Wednesday’s 73-63 win over Vermont during which it hit 11 3-pointers. SBU has lost two in a row and four of five, including Wednesday’s 56-55 loss to UMBC.

Game notes: The Black Bears, who had a three-game winning streak snapped Wednesday at Vermont, play their last home game against the league-leading Seawolves. It’s the final Alfond Arena appearance for seniors Allison and Jon McAllian of Bangor. UMaine holds fifth place in the standings. SBU has won three straight and seven of eight, including Tuesday’s 83-39 drubbing of UMBC. The Seawolves rank first in AE points allowed (53.8 ppg) and FG pct. defense (.353).
