BRADFORD – Lucretia A. Pennington, 60, wife of Frederick R. Pennington, died Feb. 20, 2013, at Mass General Hospital, Boston. She was born Nov. 21, 1952, in Old Town, the daughter of George A. and Barbara (Woodard) Dugan.
Lucretia thoroughly enjoyed driving a school bus, a job she held for 25 years. She also enjoyed time spent near the water, both at the pool and the beach, and a favorite pastime was viewing lighthouses.
Lucretia loved her family dearly and will be missed by her husband of 40 years, Fred; three sons, John Ewer and his wife, Danielle, Shane Pennington and Shawn Pennington; a brother, Steve Dugan and his wife, Deborah; and two sisters, Diane Cullen and her husband, Mike, and Debbie Nason and her husband, Chris. She also leaves seven grandchildren, Devan, Dustin, Tristan, Sierra, Montana, Austin and Aiden; a great-grandson, Hunter; many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered by many friends, including special friends, Elaine Strout, Gayle Ewer, Gayle Carbone, Janice Young and Sherrill Delaite.
Friends are invited to call noon until time of funeral service 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, at Lary Funeral Home, Milo, with Pastor Donald Booker officiating. After the service friends and family are invited to share fellowship and memories at Fred and Lucretia’s home, 112 LaGrange Road, Bradford.
