REED PLANTATION – Irene M. Moody, 69, died Feb. 14, 2013, in Reed Plantation. She was born April 21, 1943, in Wolfeboro, N.H., the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Duke) Gosselin.

She cherished her children and grandchildren. She is survived by two children, Frederick and Amy Moody of Boscawen, N.H., and Irene and Jody Moulton of Reed Plantation; three grandchildren, Ann Marie, Michelle and Michael; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Harvey “George” Moody.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, with the Rev. Steve Waite officiating. Spring interment will be in New Hampshire.
