Game notes: Maine is without third-leading scorer Connor Leen (7 & 5) due to a flare-up of Crohn’s disease. He joins senior center Kyle Beattie (4 & 5) and senior defenseman Nick Pryor (0 & 2), who are out with concussions. The Terriers are without defenseman Alexx Privitera (2 & 10), who was suspended for the rest of the season. BU has given up 30 goals in its 1-5-1 stretch but Maine is averaging only 1.71 gpg. Maine is 1-8-4 at home while BU is 7-5 on the road. BU is 47th in team defense (3.08 gpg). Grzelcyk is tied for third nationally in scoring among freshman defensemen and O’Regan is 10th in points per game among all freshmen (0.88).
