Game notes: The Black Bears will try to snap a four-game losing streak against the third-place Great Danes. UMaine is expected to have the services of Edwards, who played in Wednesday’s loss at Boston U. The Bears remain in sixth place. Albany has won two straight, blowouts at Binghamton and UMBC. The Bears have to keep the Danes off the foul line, where they shot 72 percent, and avoid giving up second shots.

Game notes: The Black Bears will have their hands full against the surging, first-place Great Danes. UMaine has dropped two straight, the last an 86-79 loss to UMBC on Saturday. The Bears are further hampered by a handful of nagging injuries. Albany has rattled off 10 consecutive wins, including Wednesday’s 85-41 drubbing of UMBC. In league play, the Danes are the top scoring (70.1 ppg), defensive (40.9 ppg) and rebounding team (plus-16 margin). Albany’s average margin of victory in AE games is a whopping 29.2 points.
