Madison police, state police, sheriff’s deputies converge on home

MADISON, Maine — Few details are available about an incident on East Madison Road, but local police, Maine State Police and deputies from the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene at about 4 p.m., and remained there hours later, a police dispatcher said.

Madison Police Chief Barry Moores was at the scene and was the only one who could release information about why police had converged on the house, a dispatcher from the Somerset Regional Communications Center said.
